不久前一生挥洒诗意的许渊冲先生迎来百岁寿辰他用语言跨越千百年的风骨流韵架起中西的文化桥梁终生践行对美的追求
从诗经的悠雅清扬到唐宋元清的风花雪月再到现代诗的朦胧蕴藉回顾这些诗词亦是一场心灵的回溯今天，北大学子再次深情诵读在斗拱回廊下，在曲径通幽处穿过悠悠岁月，阅历大美人间致敬文学，致敬经典

这一把过往的热情，
This handful of passion of a bygone day,
现在流水似的，
Which flows like running water soft and light
轻轻在幽冷的山泉底，
Beneath the cool and tranquil fountain,
在黑夜，
At dead of night
在松林，
In pine-clad mountain,
叹息似的渺茫，
As vague as sighs, but you
你仍要保存着那真！
Should e’ er be true.
一样是明月，
The moon is still so bright;
一样是隔山灯火，
Beyond the hills the lamps shed the same light,
满天的星，
The sky besprinkled with star upon star,

梦似的挂起，

那一句话 —— 你仍得相信

第一次把中文诗译成英文
是在1939年翻译
林徽因的现代诗《别丢掉》
那时，许渊冲还是西南联大的大一学生

青青子衿，悠悠我心。
Student with collar blue,
How much I long for you!
纵我不往，子宁不嗣音？
Though to see you I am not free,
O why don’t you send word to me?
青青子佩，悠悠我思。
Scholar with belt-stone blue,
How long I think of you!
纵我不往，子宁不来？
Though to see you I am not free,
O why don’t you come to see me?
挑兮达兮，在城阙兮。
I’m pacing up and down
On the wall of the town.
一日不见，如三月兮。
When to see you I am not free,
One day seems like three months to me.
乐而不淫，为热烈，而浪漫；
哀而不伤，为清丽，而自然。
上古情诗，用笔温婉，
但求真挚，不问浮艳。
恰似翻译之于许渊冲先生，
纯粹，简单。
在北大畅春园已经住了近40年
家中只有泛黄的墙壁和陈旧的家具
书桌上堆满文稿
和才情斐然的译文相比
许渊冲先生的生活朴实无华
他喜欢从夜里“偷时间”

花间一壶酒，
Among the flowers, from a pot of wine
独酌无相亲。
I drink without a companion of mine
举杯邀明月，
I raise my cup to invite the Moon who blends
对影成三人。
Her light with my Shadow and we’re three friends
月既不解饮，
The Moon does not know how to drink her share
影徒随我身。
In vain my Shadow follows me here and there
暂伴月将影，
Together with them for the time I stay
行乐须及春。
And make merry before spring’s spent away
我歌月徘徊，
I sing and the Moon lingers to hear my song
我舞影零乱。
My Shadow’s a mess while I dance along
醒时同交欢，
Sober, we three remain cheerful and gay
醉后各分散。
Drunken, we part and each may go his way
永结无情游，
Our friendship will outshine all earthly love
相期邈云汉。
Next time we’ll meet beyond the stars above
1938年刚刚考入西南联大的许渊冲
在日记中兴奋地写下：
“今夜月很亮，喝了两杯酒，带着三分醉，
走到草场上，看着半圆月，
忆起往事，更是心醉神迷”
月也杯中，人也杯中
清辉之下
是他对美的永恒追求
许渊冲的夫人照君曾说：
“许先生很爱美，唯美主义。”
他在文化互译的大舞台上
以笔为媒介
把“美”作为最高追求
将诗词歌赋
传播到西方世界

Notre v?u reste inébranlable comme un mont.

Non,non,non!
节奏急促，声韵凄紧，
只一吟词唱曲，
即见陆游笔下的凄楚与痴情。
许先生作其法译，
注重浅、等、身“三化”，
兼统音、意、形“三美”，
始得知、好、乐“三之”。
1959年，许渊冲与照君结为伉俪
风雨动荡中
两人携手走过近六十年
在未名湖旁的长椅上
他喜欢为夫人朗诵自己亲笔所译的诗
2018年夫人照君逝世
许渊冲出现在纪录片《我的时代和我》的现场
只是为了再看夫人一眼

咬定青山不放松，
Upright stands the bamboo amid green mountains steep.
立根原在破岩中。
Its toothlike root in broken rock is planted deep.
千磨万击还坚劲，

2007年，86岁的许渊冲被诊断为直肠癌
医生说他最多只能活七年
七年后，许渊冲被授予翻译界的最高奖项之一
“北极光”杰出文学翻译奖
到如今，十四年过去了
许渊冲仍旧为翻译事业奉献着光与热
岁月无法改变他身上的赤诚
他不向生活屈服
不向岁月屈服
不向命运屈服
就像诗文中的竹石
坚毅自律、勇敢不屈
终成就了
“书销中外百余本，
诗译英法唯一人”
才华迥出天真潇洒而又自得
许渊冲怀一生长情
以笔为桨
涉渡时光之海
以诗为舟
